Web Geekery

On my current list of great things are :
  • TinyMCE
Simple and outrageously friendly WYSIWYG text editor tool.
  • TiddlyWiki
One-Page-Wiki tool using Javascript and CSS. It's been extended, improved and helped in a great many ways, and really is the easiest way to get a Wiki up and running. Also one of the best DHTML applications I've seen and a fine example of a SPADE project.
I'm also currently investigating a bit more AJAX when I get the chance. So it's also been handy to find What You Should Know About AJAX Security: 24 Tutorials. Have fun kids, and remeber; don't break the interwebs.

Dog in a hat

Just because I can, here's a dog in a cowboy hat come to open a can of whupass on Adolf Catler...

Hiatus

Well it's been a pretty long while since I posted here. Slackness, freelance webmonkeying, the summer, Warcraft and other nonsense purely to blame, and nothing to do with the fact that I forgot my blogger log-in at all.

So to make up for the absence, have a
picture of a Cat Who Looks Like Hitler.

Talking of freelance webmonkeying, I've been working for a lovely bunch of folks for the first part of the year, and finally launched a new eCommerce site for The Scrawl Collective. I've now parachuted out of agency life and back to the NFP sector for my new role, which is shaping up to be a busy but entertaining job.
